Common issues & fixes
- Menu not showing: In Sheets, open Extensions → Consent Mode Monitor → Open to finish authorisation.
- #ERROR! when finding GTM ID with
=CMM_GTM(CMM_KEY_Cell, Website_URL_Cell)
This happens when the website blocks auto-crawl (e.g., Cloudflare) or does not use Google Tag Manager.
Fix: Try a different page on the same domain, or install our Chrome extension to bypass Cloudflare: Install CMM Chrome Extension. - “Error: License key is invalid. Please get a new license key from https://app.consentmodemonitor.com”
The licence key entered is invalid or expired.
Fix: Get a valid licence from our pricing section, then in Sheets go to Extensions → Consent Mode Monitor → Manage licence → paste key → Activate.
